It has been a busy year. With your help we’ve raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support too

Matt, Andy and the team at Poppleton & Appleby wish you all the compliments of the season and a Happy Christmas.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support for Poppleton & Appleby during 2017 and the opportunities to advise your clients in need of our expertise and experience in all areas of insolvency, restructuring and turnaround. 

We have had a busy and interesting year, including an office move and a reorganisation of the firm’s structure, but at the same time have managed, with your support, to give a little back. This year we have supported Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity we have supported previously. Here are just some of the events where you have helped us help others:

Poppleton & Appleby Quiz Night – May 2017

Teams of professional advisers tested their knowledge at The Butts Arena, Coventry and helped to raise £300.

Poppleton & Appleby Charity Bike Ride and Coffee Morning – September 2017

Team Matt beat Team Andy in a static charity bike ride in the courtyard at 30 St Paul’s Square, where friends and our new neighbours joined in and spectated whilst contributing to our Macmillan Coffee Morning.  We are delighted to have raised just over £1,700.

Poppleton & Appleby “Kickstart Christmas” Ice Skating – December 2017

Bambi would have been at home at this networking event!  Held at Planet Ice in Coventry at the start of December, our aspiring Dancing on Ice competitors voted for the best skater and best Christmas Jumper on the day!

We will also be donating the money raised in our office Christmas Jumper Competition to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.  Watch out for an update on Twitter!

It has also been a pleasure to support the fundraising activities held throughout 2017 by many of our friends and contacts at their own respective firms, whether it has been golf days, quizzes, awards evenings or a wide variety of other events.
